                    About United Methodist Women (UMW)

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries chruch.
In addition to assisting local as well as global mission efforts, the UMW also provides opportunities for fellowship to the women of our church and community at large throughout the year. For example, The Annual Spring Fling is a huge hit and was greatly attended this past spring.

**ALL WOMEN ARE INVITED TO ATTEND CIRCLE MEETINGS**
                    _______________________________________________________

The UMW Fall Meeting included a fabulous meal and the video entitled Resurrection Road. From this video we were able to see UMW in action with women bringing Christ's message of love in word and deed to people and communities on the margins of society. We are indeed at the hands and feet of Christ.

Our mission giving goes to several places including: The Women's Division, Sierra Leone's Operation Classroom, a dispensary in Nigeria that will ensure birth control for the women, Bethlehem Center in Atlanta, Blackfeet Parish MYF, Inter Mountain Children's Home, and Community Hope.
